Chris Towslee
Owner, Alma Sewing Center

Chris joined Alma Sewing Center in 2017, bringing several years of technology experience with him. After nearly nine years of working in the business and getting to know its customers, products, and day-to-day operations, he became the owner of Alma Sewing Center in January 2026.

Today, Chris carries the business forward with a focus on combining the personal service customers have come to expect from Alma Sewing Center with the knowledge and resources needed by today’s sewing community.

Ken Solomon

Ken has been part of Alma Sewing Center for nearly four decades. He purchased the business from one of the Ball brothers in 1988 and owned and operated the store until January 2026.

With 38 years of sewing machine service experience, Ken remains an important part of the Alma Sewing Center team. Although now working on a part-time basis, he continues to provide machine service and repair, bringing decades of hands-on knowledge and experience to every machine he works on.
